1941 Polk Wedding Celebration at Taille de Noyer
Sunday, June 1, 2025, 2 - 5 pm
The public is invited to celebrate the historical wedding of Grizelda Polk and Lemoine Skinner from the summer of 1941. Taille de Noyer, where the wedding was held, has been decorated with many 1940’s-era wedding gowns and antique quilts. A video of the wedding will play in the main floor gown room. A 1937 car will be displayed in front of Taille with the owner, John Gales, dressed in period clothing.
Enjoy wedding cake, champagne punch, and appetizers. A non-alcoholic punch will also be served.

Taille de Noyer is located on the grounds of McCluer High School at 1896 S New Florissant Rd, Florissant, MO 63031. Turn right after the gatehouse and continue to the back parking lot.
