Old Jamestown Association is a non-profit corporation in the State of Missouri and tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

  • Operates under Articles of Incorporation
  • Administered by a Board of Directors, elected by the membership
  • Holds two membership meetings with programs each year, usually the first Thursday in May and November
  • Holds special meetings on call
  • Publishes a semiannual newsletter
  • Strives to keep residents and others informed about the area’s history, unique geological features, developments, events, landmarks, and population, through meetings, website, newsletters, and emails.

Old Jamestown Association is not a duplication of or in competition with local subdivision organizations nor is it a political organization. No partisan endorsements or campaign contributions are permitted.

Membership is open to all who are interested in supporting Old Jamestown Association’s efforts.

Old Jamestown Association, while entirely managed by volunteers, must still pay printing costs for newsletters and our pamphlet, postage for mailings, rental costs for our PO Box, provide light refreshments for members attending semi-annual public meetings, provide some speaker fees, pay fees for web hosting, and state fees. We also currently pay membership fees in other local groups which support the interests of the community and participate in sponsored events.
