Good afternoon all,

St. Louis County has placed dumpsters for the residents to use for storm damage debris. These dumpsters are free of charge for the residents and there is signage on each dumpster stating what cannot be dumped. The dumpsters will remain in the area as long as there is a significant need. Please stress to residents not to overfill the dumpsters or place trash/debris outside the container.  Please note:  These dumpsters are intended for structural debris as well as tree branches.  Also, these dumpsters are NOT in place of the County truck pick-up.

Note: If a dumpster gets full and needs to be emptied, please call the Non-Emergency # at 636-529-8210 and let them know to send an officer out to verify the dumpster is full. We’re working with the Office of Emergency Management (OEM) to verify when they are full. After we verify it, we’ll notify the OEM and they’ll get it emptied.

1. REPORT STORM DAMAGE.  If you had any damage from Friday’s storms, please report it to 211Understanding the scope of the damage ensures that we can meet state and federal thresholds for monetary assistance.

2. STORM CLEANUP ASSISTANCE.  Need help with tree removal, tarping, or debris cleanup?  Call the Crisis Cleanup Hotline at (844) 965-1386.  Volunteers from local organizations are ready to help at no cost.

– The hotline will be open until March 28, 2025.

– Services are free but not guaranteed due to high demand.

– This hotline CANNOT assist with food, shelter, insurance, or FEMA registration.

3. BRANCHES and LIMBS PICKUP.  Saint Louis County crews will begin picking up tree limbs in neighborhoods in unincorporated Saint Louis County starting Tuesday, March 18.

– Please cut limbs as small as possible.

– Place them close to the curb for easy pickup.

– ONLY tree limbs will be collected.  These will be shredded/mulched in county parks, so no siding or any debris that did not come from a tree or shrub can be collected.
